How long till baby doesnt gag/choke on solids?

She's 5 months and 3 weeks. Been starting solids this past week gradually. She does fine with breastmilk/fruit smoothies, but anything not purée she gags, most of the time will puke all her milks :(

A:

She should only be having puree at that age, no lumps at all yet. Give her time!
