My son is 6 months and I have introduced solids. He absolutely loves to join in at meal times and will scream if he's not participating. I tried rice cereal but that gave him a runny nose, itchy eyes and hives. I tried real rice, slow cooked for an hour to a runny consistency and then pureed but he is showing the same reactions, just milder. All I'm feeding him now is pureed vegies and am using potato as a bland base in which to mix other strong tasting vegetables. However, he is getting very bad cramps and gas at night since, and I suspect he's not digesting the starch very well.
Does anyone have an alternative that I can use as a food base? I have been told to stay away from wheat products, oats and... |

My husband and I had our son 2 months ago. I have been on birth control for like two weeks. We have had protected sex until now. We waited for 6 weeks. My baby is due on Boxing day, but should I still get her Christmas stuff? Clothes, blankets, etc
I know its late but a lot of shops by me are still open till late. A:If you want to, sure. Go for it and congratulations.

Whats a good present for a newborn baby girl? I wanted to get her a cute white dress but I cant find one that I like anywhere. Any other suggestions? A:I would get something she needs. Babies this age will not remember Christmas and it means nothing to them. If you can afford it just get some clothes or whatever else she needs. |

My baby was born premature at 27 weeks. She just came home last Saturday and shes started to not poop everyday since then. Tuesday and Thursday she didnt poop. Is this normal or should I be worried? A:Call your doctor and see what he/she says. Babies often go long spans without bowel movements but it's different when they're newborns-- and her prematurity is another thing to factor in. Talk to your doctor, better safe than sorry.
