My daughter is a little over 2 months and every time I put her on her belly for "tummy time" she just lays there and cries for a while then falls asleep. She isn't trying to move around and doesn't want to play. She will play if she's sitting but not on her belly. I know she needs to learn to crawl and get strength in her arms from being on her belly but she just isn't doing anything. Is this normal? And should I put her on her belly even if she hates it? A:My daughter HATED being on her tummy when she was younger. She would scream instantly so I stopped putting her on her belly. Once she learned how to roll over onto her belly herself she was okay with being on her belly... |

Now it's been a little over four months and everytime I sleep on my stomach it hurts really bad also if I bend over for to long it hurts to like bad menstrual cramps also when ever we have sex I bleed a little is this normal? Like I said he's over four months old now this started a little bit ago like a little less than a month A:The most worrisome symptom is the bleeding. Please make an appointment with your doctor. |
Is it ok to just let 2wk old cry? |

My 2wk old has been unsettled all night and now into the morning he is dry fed burped,but still can not be settled..is it ok to let him just cry? A:No, he's 2 weeks old for Pete's sake. Part of a baby's needs is closeness and comfort from Mom who he's just spent 9 months inside of. |

I adopting my nephew I have had him since he was 4 days old from the hospital..Now my older aunts say his fussiness may be due to the fact that his mother is not around and I dont have her smell and he can sense i am not his mother...can he tell i am not his mom?? A:well did his mom hold him right after he was born? because if she did then yeah, they have the mom hold the baby right after its born so they can bond and the baby can get her smell and be able to... |

Okay a couple of weeks ago my 16 month old son came up one day with a small bump on his neck that just looked like a skin tag. I didn't really think much of it at that time, but now over the last week or so it has gotten bigger. It's not under the skin or anything, it's just a bump on the skin. It's not huge, but it's about the size of a small mole. It looks red sometimes, and I know that he doesn't pick it at I have never even seen him touch... |
